PTSD Information

Contrary to President Roosevelt's campaign promise in 1940, young men and women still do go to war. Unlike World War I, World War II, sometimes these men and women fight in undeclared wars, such as Bosnia and Vietnam. Because of the acts of violence and death that many soldiers, Navy, Marines and Merchant Marine personnel experience, some men and women come home adversely affected.

These war-time experiences often leave scars that do not easily heal. Even in the best of situations, help is needed to initiate and help the healing process along. Simply put, this condition is commonly referred to as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

If you continue to experience flash backs and/or other PTSD-related problems, you may be entitled to compensation and/or medical assistance from the Veteran Administration. Getting help can make all the difference. You will never know just how much of a difference it can make unless you check it out. Click on the PTSD link below to find help.
